Please mark your calanders for Wednesday, August 26th at 6:30 pm for this event. We will be featuring the wines of Howell Mountain AVA winery Saladin Cellars along with a 5 course tasting menu paired with their wonderful wines.
Saladin Cellars is a family owned and operated small winery in St. Helena, CA. The Saladins began making wine in their garage with friends and their experiment grew into a passion. Owners Bill and Christina Saladin have the goal of making quality wine with a personal family touch. One taste of any of the 4 varietals Saladin Cellars produces and you will know that they are acheiving this goal. Their son is very involved in all aspects of the wine making process: from blending sessions to label design and marketing strategies.
Their Winemaker, Patrick Saboe, is the creative force behind their wines. Patrick has worked in many wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties, including Hanna, Keller Estates, Petroni Vineyards, Verisimo Wines and The Wine Foundry. Patrick is a 2002 graduate of UC Davis with a degree in Viticulture and Enology. We are hoping Patrick can join us for the dinner, but crush has started and it is the Winemakers’ busiest time of the year.
